So fun to see a Seattle themed wedding invitations I designed last summer for Kendal & Jim in the Seattle Met Bride and Groom magazine. I finally got my hands on the newest edition and voila, now I can proudly share it. The main invitation is letterpressed in navy and yellow ink on eco friendly paper. I love how it turned out and can’t wait to share more. You can view more beautiful images from this wedding here.

It has been Christmas in July and August in my design world lately. I have entered few designs for Minted’s That’s a Wrap! Personalizable Holiday Gift Wrap Challenge and two of my designs were picked out of 459 submissions. You can see both of them below. Both designs will be available in few color ways and with matching scalloped sticker and a gift tag. Stay tuned, I’ll let you know as soon as they’re available for purchase.
I’m obsessed with making soups – they are so easy to make. And for me, there is nothing more comforting than a warm bowl of soup! I love taking advantage of seasonal ingredients, some of my winter favorites are butternut squash, chanterelles, potatoes and asparagus. I really enjoy chunky soups and I always crave chowders. Unfortunately I’ve had some oral sugery done earlier this week and liquid diet is on the menu for the next few days. I’ve been looking for some simple, creamy soup recipes and here are few delicious looking ones found on Pinterest. Yummy…

The summer is finally here. I am home, sitting on the front porch and soaking in the sun. The best thing about it is that I’m having this summer off! The whole summer! No long hours at work, no stress, no extra projects to work on. This summer I’ll be actually enjoying LIFE and will spend it with my family. The children are having a blast already and we are looking forward to spend every day outside. I’m planning to have our days filled with trips to the beach, parks, playdates and evening barbecques with friends. I am so looking forward to it! Happy first day
Today, our family is being featured over on the great blog Let the Kids Dress Themselves – an inspiration blog that loves authentic family and lifestyle photography. Lovely and talented Buffy Dekmar, an Atlanta photographer visiting Seattle for the weekend, somehow managed to capture our busy family and the fun we had chasing seagulls, blowing bubbles, running around and just being us. We absolutely love the pictures and hope you’ll enjoy looking at them too. Please visit Letthekids.com to see the feature.
Back in January, we had our family photos taken by Buffy Dekmar, an amazing photographer from Atlanta, who was in town for the weekend. I received the prints today and they just blew me away! They are so gorgeous, I have fallen in love with nearly every photo Buffy took. She managed to effortlessly capture the most priceless moments and the essence of our children’s spirit. We had such a fun time at Alki Beach despite the weather being on the gloomy side. Jakob and Izzy dressed themselves for the occasion and brought extra hats, their favorite toy – pedal tractor, bubbles and balloons. Buffy was sweet and kind, kids adored her and we had a remarkable experience.
The pictures turned out more than amazing. The light and the colors are so dreamy that it almost makes me love the rain and the Seattle’s winter weather…. We love, love, love them! Buffy captured in pictures a magical memory that we will treasure forever.

I’m absolutely thrilled to share with you this special project of mine. Hello! Prints is an online stationery shop filled with beautiful and unique stationery designs. It desperately needed a brand refresh and I had a blast redesigning the site and rebranding it. You can see it in its entirety right here. For now, the designs are avaialable for purchase in Poland and Europe only but I plan to open an online store here, in the U.S. Every visit and purchase means so much to us – please take a peek!
A sneak peak at what I’m working on today… I promise more details soon.
Have you heard of split ink? I haven’t until a few months ago when I spotted some inspirations on Pinterest. Of course, I had to try it! Ombre has been such an influence in fashion I had to try it on paper. Perfect project came along and voila! The most awesome ombre gala invitations are here. They are slightly larger than standard invitation (A8) as I felt the floral illustrations and the amount of text needed some room to breath.
I designed the invitations to be printed with a split ink fountain using yellow and red inks which blended to a bright orange in the middle – check them out below, the results are stunning. To maximize the drama I paired them with orange vellum envelopes and really love how they grab the the attention.
